All The Right Moves
Full-service movers in Reno & across the Truckee Meadows
Owner-run, Reno born and raised
Dial us and it’s Chase or a mover on his crew who picks up — never a call center. Tell us which stairwells run tight and which rooms run heavy, and we’ve got the day mapped out long before it arrives.
A written estimate you can trust
We build your number from a real room-by-room inventory, with pads, dollies, shrink-wrap and wardrobe boxes already included — no vague curbside guess.
Full house or just the fragile stuff
Kitchen cabinets empty into dish barrels, hanging clothes lift straight into wardrobe cartons, and a made-to-fit crate protects every mirror, flat-screen and slab of stone counter.
Careful hands over any terrain
The crew chief who sizes up your home leads the truck and does the final walk-through with you — from Sierra cabin roads to downtown high-rises, one team stays with your load.
What Moving Day Actually Looks Like
-
1
A written figure, usually the same day you call
On our end: Tell us how many rooms, whether the crew faces stairs or a flat walk-out, and where a truck can sit — the written number lands back with you almost right away.
Where you help: Keep your two dates close, plus any gate codes or building-access rules; that’s what sharpens a rough range down to a firm price.
-
2
We hold the date and clear the way in
On our end: Parking, gate codes and an elevator hold all get squared away with the building manager or HOA before the date, so the crew rolls the truck straight to your door rather than lugging boxes from down the street.
Where you help: Nail down when you can leave the old place and get into the new one, then flag whichever of those two dates is hardest to shift.
-
3
Wrap, pad, label, load
On our end: Every piece disappears under moving blankets, couches get sealed in stretch wrap, and the bolts from each bed frame or table go into a labeled bag taped to that exact item.
Where you help: Mark each carton with the room it’s headed to, and carry your papers, keys and anything small and valuable yourself instead of loading it.
-
4
Load out, haul, carry in, walk through
On our end: Whoever loads your house is who carries it back in at the other end — furniture landed exactly where you ask for it, bed frames reassembled, and all the spent wrap and tape bagged up and gone before we clear out.
Where you help: Walk the place with the chief before the truck pulls out, while anything that needs fixing is still easy to fix.
Five Ways We
Move Reno
Home & Apartment Moving in Reno
Full houses, condos and apartments all over Reno, Sparks and the Truckee Meadows, moved by movers who already drive these streets daily. Padding, wrapping and every stair carry are baked in, and you approve the written figure before a single box goes out the door.
- From a single-room studio right up to a four-bedroom house
- Top-floor walk-ups, gated subdivisions, and any certificate of insurance your building or HOA asks for
- Closet wardrobes, dining tables and bed frames broken down at pickup and put back together at the new place

Commercial & Office Moves in Reno
We shift retail floors, office suites and small warehouses after hours or on a Saturday, so nobody has to lock the doors on a workday while our crew quietly relocates every workstation, file and server across Reno, Sparks and the Carson Valley.
- After-hours and weekend slots that keep your business running
- Workstations, server racks and file rooms boxed, tagged and mapped for the new floor plan
- Whatever COI your property manager needs, drafted and on file

Out-of-State Moving in Reno
One truck and one crew ride with your load the entire way, pulling out of Reno on I-80 over Donner Pass or south on US-395 toward Sacramento, the Bay Area, Salt Lake City and destinations far beyond Nevada.
- A price that stays put from the first box to the delivery door
- The crew that fills the truck in Reno is the crew that empties it
- Step-up full-value coverage any time you’d like it

Packing & Storage in Reno
Let our packers box the whole house or only the fragile things, using boxes and wrap we bring, and your load can sit in a clean, temperature-steady bay for as many days or weeks as the move-out and move-in dates are apart.
- Made-to-measure crates around the breakable items
- Dish barrels and wardrobe cartons ride along on every job
- A secured, climate-held bay to bridge the two homes

What will your Reno move actually run?
Tell us the home size, your target day and what’s coming along, and a written estimate lands in your inbox before the day is out. Nothing to pay, no deposit up front — just a dependable figure you can budget against.
- Fully licensed and insured — Nevada’s intrastate household-goods authority for local work, plus federal US DOT and MC authority once a move leaves the state
- Whatever number you sign off on is the number the movers hold to — drawn from a true room-by-room count, never a guess from the curb
- Each mover wears our uniform, draws a W-2 paycheck from us, and shows up in one of our own trucks

The things Reno and Sparks neighbors most often check on before locking a date
Are you actually licensed and insured to move in Nevada?
Absolutely. All The Right Moves runs as a full-service mover based in Reno, NV, holding Nevada’s intrastate household-goods authority for local jobs plus federal US DOT and MC authority for the interstate runs. If your building manager or HOA wants a certificate of insurance on file, say the word and one goes out the same day.
Could extra charges show up once the crew’s on site?
No surprises. Local jobs bill by the hour at the rate we quoted, with a one-hour minimum; longer hauls get a written flat rate. Pads, wrap and dollies are already included — no fuel surcharge and no stair fee waiting at the end.
Does my hourly clock keep running when the crew stops for a break?
Short breaks are on us, not on your clock. In the high-desert summer the crew grabs water and keeps moving; on an hourly job we bill only the time we’re actually working your move.
How early do I need to lock in a moving day?
Grab an estimate, tell us which date suits you, and that slot is yours. Weekends near the end of a month and the whole summer run book solid quickly here, so reaching out two or three weeks ahead leaves you the widest pick.
Anything on my side that makes moving day go quicker?
Seal and label each box by the room it belongs to, keep a clear lane from the rooms to the front door, and line up parking or gate codes before we show. From there the heavy lifting and every stair run are ours to handle.
Is tipping the crew expected?
Totally your call, and it’s never something we count on. A tip is always welcome when the guys nail the job, but you’ll never find a line for it anywhere on your bill.
